The Kansas City Industrial Council presented Debbie Goodall, president of MCC-Business & Technology, with a 2013 Brick-by-Brick award on Wednesday, April 3. The awards ceremony, held at Boulevard Brewery, marked the KCIC’s 25th anniversary.
The KCIC Brick-by-Brick awards recognize individuals and companies that have made outstanding contributions to the economic strength of Kansas City’s industrial areas. Goodall is being honored for her work to support KCIC’s sustainability awards program, including arranging to have the sustainability plaques made in the MCC-Business & Technology FabLab. Jennifer Dec, industrial technology lab technician in the FabLab, made the plaques.
Goodall has served on the KCIC and Northeast Industrial Association’s board of directors and works closely with many Kansas City associations to advocate for career and technical education.
